Picoq ("we", "us", "our") operates a WhatsApp-based ordering and delivery service in Gowribidanur, Karnataka, India. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service.

Information We Collect

When you place an order with Picoq, we collect:

• WhatsApp phone number — used to communicate with you about your order
• Order details — items ordered, quantities, customisations, and total amount
• Live location pin — shared by you at the time of delivery to confirm your delivery address
• Payment method preference — UPI or Cash on Delivery (we do not store payment credentials)

How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to:

• Process and fulfill your order
• Communicate order status, confirmations, and delivery updates via WhatsApp
• Resolve any issues or complaints related to your order
• Improve our service quality

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond order fulfillment.

How You Opt In

You initiate contact with Picoq by sending us a message on WhatsApp. By messaging us, you consent to receive order-related communications from us. We only respond to messages you send us first — we never send unsolicited messages.

How to Opt Out

You can stop receiving messages from us at any time by:

• Simply not responding to our messages
• Sending "STOP" to our WhatsApp number
• Blocking our number on WhatsApp

We will not contact you again after you opt out.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties except:

• Payment processors — Razorpay processes UPI payments. We share only the minimum required information (order amount and phone number) to generate a payment link. Razorpay's privacy policy applies to their handling of your data.
• Legal requirements — if required by law or government authority

Data Retention

We retain your order information for up to 12 months for business and accounting purposes. Location data is used only at the time of delivery and is not retained beyond order fulfillment.

Data Security

Your data is stored securely on encrypted servers. We do not store payment card numbers or UPI credentials. Access to customer data is restricted to Picoq staff directly involved in order fulfillment.

Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted at picoq.shop/privacy with the effective date.
